Feel free to comment.
Hope you guys like it :)

I am no expert in videography or cinematography but would love to share my opinions and views.

I really like the story. Very good.

- I would love to see couple of mid-close up and close up shots so that I would be immerse in the converstation and the emotions between the couple from 01:41-02:35.
- Start from 02:23, there is this vignette. I was just wondering is this on purpose?
- 01:39-02:15, I could see the microphone shadows. I guess that is not good.
- Good playing with colours to differentiate between two different time zone.
- 02:55, should include couple of shots of the blind guy's hand giving the coin to the girl. (I think based on the opening dialogue between them)

Overall, it was nicely done. I like it. I watched it 5 times.

Keep them coming! :)

Thanks for your opinion!

Yeah the vignette is cause we are shooting on real film. We are using arri. And it's also cause of that my dp is the only one who can see the image. I, as director, couldn't monitor what he was capturing.

Yes you are absolutely right, I wanted to show the guy passing the coin to the girl. But I guess we missed it.

Overall, I appreciate your point of view! And hank you for your compliments!

one comment: the camera is too static. shld make more angles from other p.o.v. so it feels more dynamic and like use alot cameras

just IMHO

I think you should at least let the actor change a new pair of pants. I can see he was wearing the same pair before and after. :D

nothing like shooting on film. good work lun.

Could you tell us your motivation for using a one-take? Coz this method was used before in the old black-n-white american movies before, but with the budget of today's short films, features and movies, the one-take is usually ruled out unless it's for a specific mood it was trying to create?

Haha this was a school project. And one long take is our criteria, it challenges our planning of the whole production. With one single long take, there are so much preplanning and precaution we must make. Which we often are lazy to be concerned of nowadays.
