Hi all,
Just want to share a pic I took @ Mt.Bromo, East Java. This pic is taken from the looking point called Penanjakan, about 2-3 hrs hike (depends on your physical conditions heheh) from the nearest accomodations. Of course you can always rent a Jeep and get there in no time at all. The view is amazing, with clouds and the valleys below.
The dark area where the three hills are located is actually a giant crater. Nothing but sand dunes down there. The villages are located at the rim of the giant crater, gives amazing view at dawn when the lights from the villages are still illuminating.
This pic is a panoramic stitch of probably 4 or 5 photos. I have to deal with the distorsion while stitching, for I use ultra-wide lens for the pic. I choose not to risk changing lens because of the dust and the fact that I can't trust my fingers anymore due to the severe cold. Well, I guess I have to make do with whatever lens installed...
