You can get a Hassy XPAN. But not so sure where to develop coz i dun own one. Maybe some of the XPAN owner here can help?

Developing Hasselblad XPan shots are the same as those of normal 35mm film developing because XPan uses only 35mm film. It is only when you print, then the cost of printing is more expensive than normal prints of about the same size (lengthwise).

Hasselblad X-Pan is a good panoramic camera using a typical 35 mm film. CP sells X-Pan II. Developing can be done in any Photo Lab. Just make sure you mention to the lab that it is a X-Pan (i.e. double frame) so that they do not cut anyhow.

Printing:
Option 1:
Scan the negative or slide and put two pictures in one frame. Depending on the W/H ratio, normally you would get resonable size 2 panorama pictures in a super 8R size print.

Option 2:
Ask Foto Hub or any other commercial photo printing company to directly print from the negative or slide.

I am doing Option 1, and it saves money (provided you have a scanner). Option 2 can be expensive. The more you print the more returns on the investment you have on the scanner if you do option 1.

Like everybody says, get a Hassy Xpan. The shop with 2nd hand Xpan is beside Spinelli, Excelsior Hotel side. Processing slides is about $5 to $6 and negatives is about $4.50. I send to Ruby/PhotoHub(formerly RGB)/Konota.Ask around to get cheapest processing.

Yes, you must remind them that its panoramic slides/negatives or else they chop them into 35mm slides.Konata did twice to my negatives, Ops! after reminding them and standing and looking at them cutting. They gave me free processing for the cut up negatives.

K100 Photo Lab,basement, near Central 99, can print Xpan negative and one Xpan image they charged I think $3.
I now scan my Xpan images and print from my Epson printer.
