Assume battery~S$70 and SD card ~ S$79, camera comes to S$850 w/gst.

Somehow I think Comex doesn't mean value for money! I heard the rental is few $K per day.............. However, if they are selling new never released stuff, it's diff story. That's the price for early adopter. :sweat:

Btw, I read in another forum, it's possible to shoot at 2.5cm macro using zoom. Not sure how they did it.

Yep, I have 2 original batteries. Before the COMEX, best price I checked out was S$913.5 w/gst for camera (with FOC 64Mb). 3rd party battery~S$25, Kingston 256MB ~S$58, so before COMEX would be S$996.5. So pay about same for original battery and better card was OK for me. (Although I do agree that KM had much much better freebies for their Z3)

Anyway, for Macro shots, I can focus up very close, but flash would be blocked. One alternative is to use close-up lens.
