if fz2 is to be released outside japan (some people said it is for japan mkt only) & gauging from the time fz1 took to reach singapore the last round, it should be around 3 mths+-

why would any 1 want to get a 2MP camera nowsaday ?

well, if all we print is 4R and occasionally 8R, a good 2mp cam should be sufficient most of the time.

the attractive point about this cam is the 12x optical + IS and f2.8 throughout entire zoom range.

If really can get that price will be very interesting, just a little more than the FZ1. Well, although we know the improvements are minimum.

Although many would prefer it to be a 3MP or more, if by doing so it keeps the price down, I think it will still be a good choice.

i really love this and the FZ10 .. i dun mind 2mp CAMERA..since i only print 4R...my current camera (2mp ) has serve me well just that the 12x zoom and the f2.8 for whole range is a good deal.....hope sg has FZ2....

i just saw something on panasonic Europe website...

that means we have higher hopes of seeing FZ2 in Sg right??since it is also release in europe...and not just jap as what a lot of people at other forums had said...

Actually it has been in Europe and US for a while already. But Singapore seems to be largely ignored by Panasonic......
