Hello! Just a little thing I've been wondering about...
This sticky was posted in 2009:
However, I've noticed that there are quite a number of threads on Panasonic's m43 cameras in this forum section also. Does gets a little confusing when I try to locate a thread (about one of the new Panasonic releases), but I can't remember if it was in the Panasonic section or Four Thirds Standard section.
So, either the sticky is really outdated and needs to be removed, or a mod can help move those relevant threads to the Four Thirds Standard forum section.
Btw, the user 'Editor' posting m43 topics in the Panasonic section also adds to the confusion as it appears 'officially sanctioned'.

Dear all,
Just want to give you guys a heads-up regarding the micro Four Thirds (m43) standard, which includes your beloved G1 and the follow up model (currently known as G1-HD).
Since this camera system falls under the Four Thirds family and there is a dedicated thread for all Four Thirds System (including the micro Four Thirds), when the Olympus model is released, I shall be moving all G1 related threads into the Four Thirds section since there are also much interchangability between the micro and "regular" Four Thirds equipment and accessories and lenses and whatever's not.
Just thought that I bring this up so that it will minimise the confusion later on.
Also, for those who are looking into adopting the m43 standard gear, good news is that there might be more brands coming in to this standard in the coming year as well, so the system looks set to be moving forward and gaining ground.
Hope to have your understanding to this matter and the consolidation of threads. Like what we have done for L1 and L10 models as well.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation and looking forward to more sharing with you guys (and gals).
Best regards.
