basket and d70s is always underexpose

Not underexpose lah. just more conservative.

So same lor.. D80 is just more aggressive lor.. Target different group of people. ;p People who come from shooting slides will find themselves at home with being more conservative, people who shoot film would prefer it to be more aggressive, but coming from a negative background, it took me a while to get used to the idea of not blowing out the highlights, for negative, it's good because you get a higher overall contrast if you know what to do in the darkroom.

guys got it wrong it is actually 1.01 sorry for the misconception

Perhaps everyone should also check that the shot you are seeing on the computer has the colour space setting of sRGB and not Adobe RGB or aRGB. This is a critical setting as your screen most likely will be operating with sRGB while what you see on the LCD of the camera is set to aRGB. This is a serious problem in both colour as well as exposure accuracy perceived by our eyes.

digging out this old thread.. could someone advise how to check the setting on the LCD and chg it to sRGB? is that possible?

also, if my lens is under warranty, can i bring it to NSC for cleaning FOC?
