Hi,

I'm thinking of getting the Ovation Photobank, however i read from somewhere that it can only be charge using USB connection (no adaptor to charge it). Anyone using this and care to share if it is truth? :dunno:

i was considering it but when i take the cost of it with the capacity i needed, would be more cost efficient instead to go for the eeepc + external hdd setup. I am using 16GB SDHC cards so its some time before i need to dump all the data into the external hdd and i have the laptop to do quick previews.

fyi, there are USB battery gadgets that help to extend the life of usb powered devices but not exactly cheap.

You can go to Sim Lim and get those power adapters that has a usb socket. Plug it in any power outlet and you have an instant usb charger.

the photobank runs on nokia handphone batteries.
I got mine that comes with the charger & 2 batteries all inside the box, from a shop called best price on level 5, sim lim square.
