Hi, i just got myself a Yashica electro 35 GSN. i was wondering if i should get another digital camera for my europe study trip? i heard that developing film can be expensive and quite a hassle in europe. or i should just keep to the RF and its good enough? i need some advice...

btw, i'm going over to switzerland for studies soon ;p

thanks!

I second the Ricoh GRDIII :)

GRD series for me. Love the B & W from the series I camera, coupled with the wide angle converter it the smallest package 21mm f2.8 combi.

You might miss the convenience of a zoom lens when touring Europe; do keep a Canon S95 in consideration as well. That said, I'm a very happy user of the GRD3 as well~

If you want to really experience RF camera, and film in this matter then you should not bring any digital camera, developing film is expensive anywhere but shoot carefully then your money will be well spent. If you going to bring a digital camera trust me you wouldn't use the film camera as much as you think you will.

Learn how to develop b/w white film, I believe the "toy" you need might be easier to find in Europe than here.
