Hello fellow Olympians,

Just want to know how many of you are using the 6 million dollar home bag? What is your opinion of the bag?

I have the Lowepro Slingshot 200 (for out and about) and Lowepro Fastpack 350 (for travelling), but now thinking of something that I can carry everyday to the office with my newly acquired E-420, and maybe the 14-42 lens, iPod and some small stuff.

I can't see the bag in person because it is not available in Macau, and is contemplating a mail order, hence would appreciate any kind advice.

Thanks in advance.

i used to use the 6mil..i carry E500 with 12-60 attached, 40-150 (old), 2 additional Batt, blower, a smaller size SIGG water bottle n still have space for spec case inside the main compartment...i believe if is for 420/12-42..u have lot of space available..

but this bag is boxy to me..thus i downgrade to a tamrac messenger 4 for it slimmer profile.

think my bro-in-law is using one, while i used to have the keystone backpack. crumpler's materials are excellent, and the zips are really fantastic. actually for the e420 + 14-42, the six million is going to be really huge. the 4 million should be more than enough for your stuff.

yup I have both the slingshot 200 and 6mil home. The 6mil home can carry as much as the slingshot 200 I feel. I used to stuff E330 + E510 + 50mm + 11-22mm + 40-150mm (old version) into the bag 6mil home.

if you only want to carry a E420 kit, I think the bag is too big.

Thanks for the comments thus far, I'm also aware that if I just want to carry the E-420, the 6 Million Dollar Home is too big.... but I was also thinking that some days I might want carry my E-510, 12-60, 50-200... so getting a slightly bigger bag is always the safer bet.

I'm 1750mm tall, the 4 or 5 Million Dollar Home might look a little small and 'girly' on me... :bsmilie:

7 Million Dollar Home... hmmm... the price different between the 6 and 7 Million Dollar Home is small, but it looks a tad too big though.

I don't have anything so new, but my Farmers Doubler is amazing. I carry 3 lenses, 1 flash, and 1 body, plus accessories/supplies, and my laptop computer.

Construction of my backpack is so good and everything stays where it should. The price was high but it was worth it and apparently, will be for a long while.

Finally decided on the 6 Million Dollar Home and have placed the order.... the problem now is that, once the bag arrives and when my CO sees me using it, I'll have to get her a new handbag just to stop her from nagging... ;)

Have a good weekend ahead!

This alway the problem for lot of the bro here... just like you, one bag is never enough...

grats on your new purchase!

I like the colors on the 6 million, got one for my wife. I myself carry the 7 million

The crumpler arrives this evening, and I eagerly 'tested' it out. A little smaller than what I envisioned it to be, and a little too 'thick' for my liking initially. But I re-arranged the paddings and it is a little slimmer now and work the way I wanted it to. It's amazing the amount of stuff the 6 Million Dollar Home can take!!

Overall, I'm happy with the purchase, now I can take my E-420, 25mm, 14-42mm with me everyday.

The bag will eventually costs me S$850 equivalent!! For those of you who want to know, here's why...

Wife: Hey darling, what is that?
Me: Oh, erm... that's my camera bag.
Wife: How come I've never seen this one before?
Me: Oh, erm... it came through the mail order this evening.
Wife: Huh? Why you need another bag? You already got 2 sitting in the cupboard already!
Me: Oh, erm... different bag for different purpose and occassion mah..
Wife: Oh... darling ah, remember we saw the Furla bag at Venetian last Sunday?
Me: Erm... yes?
Wife: Can buy for me?
Me: But you already got so many handbags already.
Wife: Why you can buy new bag I cannot?!?!
Me: Erm... different lah...
Wife: Don't care, tomorrow we go Venetian for shopping k?
Me: Okay...

:cheergal::cheergal:

congrat for the new bagssss

Generally, I would describe all Crumpler bags as (1) Durable (2) Well made (3) Tough Fabric but (4) Heavier than bags in its class (5) Cost more (6) Colours are subjective to individual's taste.

That said, I love my Crumpler bag packs. They have been everywhere with me and they last and last... they have outlasted many backpacks from the other makers except my beloved Kata.

...... contemplating a mail order, hence would appreciate any kind advice.

Can u share as to which mail order company ?
