Hi,
AP, MS color, CP are very good places to shop for cameras and stuff and their prices are reasonable.

I just want to know how you would feel about buying stuff on line (at better prices than AP, MS color and CP). What will make you do on line shopping than visiting one of these trusted retail stores? Is it trust, service or just plain confidence (because of the existence of physical store) that will make you avoid on line shopping? Or perhaps because you'd normally have to wait before you can get your goods if you purchase on line rather than be able to walk away clicking your camera if you buy from a physical store?

Regards.

Online shopping is fine if you cannot get the stuff locally or the price difference is great. But for my camera stuff I would rather buy it from a shop. I can feel my camera before buying. I cal also test it. But most importantly I can get it when I leave the shop. I always believe that I should get the goods once I paid for it. You cannot do that online. There is no hhuman touch.

www.bargaincity.com.sg allows you to manhandle the goods before you pay in cash upon delivery.

My circumstances are a bit different since I'm based not in Singapore but in the UK, where the 17.5% VAT makes prices on camera equipment stratospheric. I bought the majority of my kit (3 lenses, 1 body, 1 speedlight, numerous accessories including film, filters, camerabag) second hand through the internet via Ebay and another online forum like this one. I'm glad to say that I've actually saved quite a bit (even comparing with second hand prices in Singapore) and I've yet to received a lemon.

Buy camera online is not recommended. Alot of trust need to put in on both u and the seller. somemore u really dont know will the seller cheat u or not. If u are not free to go and buy it, better request some help from friends that can do it for u :D
