I've long wanted to get a hardware based monitor calibration tool but the quite-a-stiff price somehow put me off. After much deliberation and second thoughts, I finally managed to push myself to getting one. Of the few options, I picked what -- based on reviews and feedbacks -- happens to be one of the best out there: Eye One Display 2.
I would now like to share the joy of having a calibrated display, albeit for a small, affordable fee: S$30 for each and every display to be calibrated. However, location -- and time -- has to be at my convenience and that would for the most part, be my place near Simei MRT. For laptop display calibration though, we might be able to do it in Simei MRT but this will depend largely on my schedule.
Interested parties should bring along a flash drive or an optical disc so I can copy over the ICC profile that will be created as part of the calibration.
