Just back from my Sri Lanka trip last Thursday and was surprised to see this new gallery added. Fantastic idea. I prob wont be able to produce that many portraits, will try nevertheless, starting by sharing some of my favourite portraits taken in the lovely country. Was there for a trip on board MV Doulos (www.mvdoulos.org) which was berthed in Galle, the south coast that was stricken by the Tsunami. Will share the photos and experience on an another day. Meanwhile heres 3 shots for the first 2 weeks of Jan.

1. Yishanti and her son (the family which we helped paint their new house)

thanks for sharing these precious, beautiful shots man...

Thanks ziedrich, glad you liked it. Heres sharing different portrait (back view) of a brother from a Christian halfway house in Galle, as he was climbing up the used bed frame to paint the interior of the halfway house. I like it because it portrays a feeling of picking himself up and turning over a new leaf..

6. Window.

One last one before I sleep. Dedicated to the lovely children in the Tsunami stricken Galle area, in the hope that the lives of the people will continue to improve as the area continues to be rebuilt. The girls were saying goodbye to us (a group of SIN volunteers), and their innocence and radiant smiles will remain in our hearts and minds for a long time.

7. Goodbye
