noise-cancellation mics

Video journalists who find themselves in noisy surroundings but need to voice their story in a jiffy, can traditionally rely on the Coles 4104 commentator mic (USD 677).
But that mic has been around for half a century and requires at least a Cloudlifter to get usable signal onto a camera or laptop.
Now there are cheaper options for faking studio quality reads in toilet cubicles / car backseats.

The Hitori de Karaoke DX mic (USD51) is cross between a toilet plunger and a karaoke mic that will insulate against external sound during voiceovers. Swop out the cheapo mic with a Audix OM7 for even greater rejection.
Coming soon, the Hushme - a wireless, wearable version for recording via apps.
