No Sony DSLR promotions in Sitex?

No strange. Good business sense. And yes, the other companies are now keeping an eye out for Sony Alpha. In such a short period of time, they've come out with base models all the way to pro-spec DSRs, with a promise of more to come. The other camera companies have been around for ages, but haven't really come up with a camera that can (in some ways) take the fight to a D3 or 1DsMkIII.

Becos Sony is catching up with the big boys fast, even the big boys are saying that themselves. So Alan is making the right decision to start selling Sony products. Now that leaves just John 3:16, who is still only serving the 2 big boys.

I bought the Tamron 17-50mm (Sony mount) from John 3:16 last time, if thats counted :b

Not quite, they do stock some sony lenses, such as the 15mm Sigma FE. But they do hate Sont PnS cams and push canon whenever they can, even though a lot of the canon PnS use Sony sensors.

They do? Last time i checked with them they said they do not have and I also had some bad experiences with them. For me is MS Color or CP all the way now.

They've always stocked some Sony/Minolta lenses, even when I first got my A100.

It's ok to sound out a good quote but not to mention the price or the deal... a good deal might include bundled stuff that are very useful rather than just a low price... so do check out and see if it's good enough for you... it was for me... but I'm sticking to my purchase plan... 2009...

Oh, I like them actually. They're great people. But I just wonder why they hate selling Sony so much (to the point of bashing Sony products as rubbish, no good, etc).

Other than that, they're awesome, and they'll help you out even if you're using sony.

ya, john 3:16 kinda don't like sony products maybe bcos of the price control thing. but i still do go to them for non sony stuff like filters etc.
