Lets not forget the *ist D/DS/DL/DL2/DS2 era too quickly...
That I attribute to Pentax's difficulty in getting a suitable sensor. So the models were essentially the same with subtle differences.

Imagine a FF Pentax DSLR with built-in complete set of hoya filters....
Just stay on tight in your camp to wait and wait if you can
However, if cannot resist.........just jump la! :bsmilie:
So - tell me how to get a weathersealed, 24-75mm effective, f/2.8, stabilized, lens + body from anywhere else?![]()

Yeah, I'm still own a DS and it's doing fine.
1yr? too long la.. pentax need to release something interesting in the next 4 months, else it will be forgotten once again. (just like before the K10)
Dun worry, better they slow and steady and come with a better product than rush on head to head with C & N.
Few days ago, C camp was in a jubilant mode when 40D and 1dsmkIII announced,
now after Nikon had show their. U can sense the negative aura from the C camp.
not only here in Cs but across all around the world.
so cheer up

This is true..Let N & C fight it out and pentax will come out with something affordable with lots of features just like when the 10D was released
Long live Pentax!!!
I got a pentax K2 SLR in 1974.... it cost me $800 and the cam is still with me. Solid as rock but cannot only steady as rock and cannot move with time.... digital is something nobody can combat. There is no end to it...
Pentax must move very fast or else it fate will be like Minolta+konica= Sony
