Thanks for the post. absolute steal considering the prices of the Cinedeck and NanoFlash.
yeah.... this little toy indeed have the potential to change the current editing workflows of using DSLR & AVCHD cameras with HDMI output...
But I think in the not-so-long future, some cameras would have gotten license to use ProRES as a native recording format with standard removable SSD as storage.
Anyone wanna predict who will the next to come out with such camera soon?
Arri Alexa already natively support ProRES...so the next manufacturer won't be the first.

But imagine using this to record output from a video mixer...
Most current video mixers either outputs HDSDI or composite/component signal, so if you're thinking of using it as a master recorder, the Ninja may not be too ideal once you need to use converter boxes.
