1 million is still a lot to me... almost equal to 20 years of my celery...
its a life changer to me... can switch job to a low paying 9 to 5 job.

I'll keep the job. You never know how much hospitalisation / surgical procedure bills, chronic medical care is going to cost when one starts ageing especially since we are living a longer lifespan.

On this note, please allow me to OT. Please go and buy your enhanced medishield from private insurers when you are still fit and healthy. You can pay the premium using medisave. It will be too late if you have one of the 30+ dreaded medical conditions cos most insurance are fair weather umbrella. It will be too late then and you will wipe your savings out. Do not just buy for yourself. Get it for your parents too.
