Nikon lens on Leica

Not sure if I posted in the right thread, but I do like to know if anyone of you is using a Nikon AI/AIS lens on your Leica M body?

I just ordered a Fotodiox adaptor that can mount my 50mm 1.2 AIS onto M6. But I am not sure what are the trade off from using such a combination.

Can anyone please do share with me..

simply put, there's no range finder coupling and so you can only focus using the distance scale. not a very reliable considering the M6 has no live view and dof at f/1.2 is super shallow. best to keep that lens on an SLR or digital mirrorless

ie. you can't focus on the m6 with this lens.

a more practical usage would be an ultrawide nikkor on the m6.
