Hi all,
New guy in town, well I will be next week,
and I'm looking for either a 2nd hand or a new
D1X.. Someone here can give me an idear of the

Thank you, sounds very expencive, compaired to the
price at US webstores, 6,750,-s$.. I don't understand
the big price difference, any idears ?

You have a nice photogallery, if I make it to Singapore
I'll definately check out the beautiful animals at the Zoo
and birdpark.

Singapore total photographer population is MUCH MUCH smaller compared to the one in the US.

Btw .. new US price is USD 3899 from Adorama leh.

I dunno what your questions mean.
Warranty on digital cameras are always local,
I do not get worldwide if I buy in Singapore or
in the US, only on lenses and std. cameras.

Market size, good point, I thought Singapore
was the shopping center, it used to be ?

Adorama, B&H, and many many more all have
same price, what they say is the minimum price
they are allowed to advertice, by email an
additional 10% is possible..

So sigh - better buy in the US, the warrany
is no issue, I live in Europe and if I need
service, sending it to Singapore or the US
is the same hassle..
