Yes, exactly!!!!

Nikon changing it's mount is like Levi's not selling jeans and changing to underwear.

The "F-mount" is to Nikon, just as Jeans is to Levi's.

Look on the bright side, if there is a new mount the price of F mount lenses would go down (hopefully).
I think nikon would still support F mount lenses. just that there would be another new mount around.
Perhaps we should start guessing what mount letter they would use.

hmmm ...if there really a new mount ... but even if price F mount lens drop ... those F mount body might not able to use new lens that uses new mount, thus also disadvantage lehz ...

anyway this new mount of Nikon is just a rumour hor .... :dunno:

Maybe Nikon will jump onto the 3/4 system bandwagon YET continue to manufacture its current line of Nikkors??Just a thought tho. :dunno:
