Nikon 14mm for Nikon and Fuji dSLR set up

For those shooting or planning to add wide angle set up to your Nikon / Fuji dSLR set up, I've found that the Nikon 14mm lens to be a very solid performer. Good angle of coverage, bright F2.8 aperture, very sharp and contrasty images (but this also depends on the quality of your dome port) and best thing is that it can be used for both digital and film formats. I can quite confidently comment that this lens can beat all of the wideangle zoom lenses out there (for the same uw application that is).

i have always preferred the sigma 15 FE for WA underwater.....1/3 the price
 

Each serves its purpose;

Sigma: cheaper, slightly lower quality, fisheye perspective

Nikon: Ex, no optical compromise, rectilinear
