the serial number looks like an ftn rather than an ft. is there the letter "n" next to the film rewind lever? if your nikkormat's film winder has a plastic tip, it's likely at an ft2 or newer

so do u have any takes or views on FT N. i am considering one. or is there other models i should consider or nikkormat?
the nikkormats are pretty old now so it can be tougher to find one with a working light meter. but if you don't need one with a working light meter, either one is fine. can also consider an ft2 or ft3. higher chance of a working light meter.
