IMHO, both deals got pro and cons. I will choose the 20-35mm if it is in mint or near mint condition, or at least the glass must be perfect with no service history. This is quite an old lens (discontinue many years back), so need to take the risk of getting a faulty one.
With about S$400 saving, the 18-35mm is also a good choice. Still, if I have the money to burn, I will meet up with the seller of the 20-35mm lens first, check the lens thoroughly, and if not upto my expectation, then only I will go for the 18-35mm.
