Newbie looking for any event which will require a 2nd photographer.

hi, i'm a relatively new photographer looking for some events to cover during november. To be assistant photographer, preferably at weddings but other events are welcomed. only a nominal fee of meals and transport will be charged and I will supply you with a CD of high quality photos. Prints are also available.

haha! actually..i agree with that..but working at macs wont get me the experience and the satisfaction. laughable yes, but i think i feel honored that someone would be willing to give me a chance to practice.

but like what most of the guys mentioned, u will need the equipment before u can practise

One good way is when your relatives get married, ask them to let you shoot as well. That way, you can put some wedding day pics as portfolio here.

That's what I did after I got my Canon 350D some ages back.
I reckon sometimes at wedding, friends are late in passing me the photos, or rather
seldom show you the wedding pic. What I did is informed my friend I am lugging
my camera along, and took some pics.

Since pics I took is limit, I can PP it asap,
sent it the next day to group of friends at the wedding as well as the groom/bride
who is my friend.

I also volunteer to help some events at my company or D&D.
