new Voigtlander lenses 35mm f/1.1 and 50mm f/1.4?

Haha goodbye over inflated 35 1.2 prices

Would be hard to focus especially with smaller magnification VFs. But sounds good!

I am definitely interested in the 50mm/f1.4. Hopefully, it delivers similar results as the earlier 50mm/f1.5, even if the lens costs >1KSGD.

nice & good but only if c/v can make it small & niffty! :kok:

Shouldn't be as hard as 50/1 and I have no problem with 50/1 :D

With the prices of rare earths rising, I'm not sure if the cost of optics can stay as they are. :S

hope the sizes of these lenses are small. no longer than 60mm and 50mm in diameter.

Hmmm..

I think should be alright. if you notice, cv has stopped producing asph lenses after the LTM batches, the cv 35mm F1.2 was prob the last asph lens produced by them.

previously there was 35mm F1.7 asph, 28mm F1.9 asph, 50mm F1.5 asph on screw mounts & they came in CHROME

sadly, ever since these lenses stopped production, asph & chrome options are gone

I think the 50mm F1.4 would be a nice lens to look out for. Hopefully size wise would be like the current nokton 35mm F1.4? Also min focal distance down to 0.7meters instead of 0.9 on the 50mm F1.5 LTM & 1meter on the 50mm F1.1

as for the 35mm F1.1, hmmmmmmm. Good bet for those who like fast 35mm - s I guess. cv already hold the record for fastest 35mm around & now its down to F1.1! lol!

I just wish 35mm F1.4 nokton came in chrome!

Focus shift issues will probably show up more I think. It's a real pity they are cutting back on ASPH. I guess it's really the cost issue.

Nice, 0.5m minimum focus and a new aspherical element to accommodate the size reduction. Now waiting for the comparison with version I

more interested in the 50F1.4, but thats just me..
:)

Focusing at 0.5m is extraordinarily hard on a rangefinder though.

Agree and most M bodies coupled only to 0.7m, it could be that voigtlander might be introducing new bodies soon to match the capability of this lens.
