No need. But if you are KS like me, I get a spare for everything, including O-Ring for my u/w camera set-up ....

Back to topic, doing a thorough check on your o-ring before trip will show you if any is defective. Anyway they are quite cheap to keep a spare set but they still won't last forever and you need to check the spares before trip too. In actual fact, should check all equipments before trip so that you don't end up sun-tanning only for the entire trip.

Includes activities like basic u/w photography n u/w games..(though i have the least idea how to play them..haaha)

Buy from the camera store you bought all your stuff from. Personally I am using an Oly one so would buy from the showroom opposite Parliment house.

damned, should have joined. i can pretend to be interested in the cleanup, basic u/w photography course and u/w games.

After OT for so long, must contribute something to thread starter. How about writing to Canon (Japan) and say u notice there is slight cut in the new O-ring and wonder if they can replace it out of goodwill. then u provide mailing address and wait. Maybe u can get one for free.

Don;t try Canon Singapore. At best, they will ask u to bring yours down to replace. Then u pi chia lobang.

That is what I do. I used to do it after every dive. In the end, I decided that once a day is enough for me otherwise, would spend a lot of time doing cam stuff and not lazing around

i only clean and silicon the O-ring whenever I take the camera out of the housing. Else I just leave it.

anyway I am planning to get my u/w camera housing after exams, together with 2 other friends. where did u get yours? cathay photo? all of us getting canon u/w casing. think the boss will give discount? heh
