We have just installed a new Search Engine. Please post all related feedback here!

What is the "New Search Engine" and what can it do?

Simple, Key in example: LX5 or D30 on the Right Top and click Go.

I think the new search have bug, for example I type in "SilverPine" and hit Go, the search result do not show all my posting in my own thread as well as my posting in other CSer thread.

After posting the above, immediate I do a search "SilverPine", the posting do not appear in the search. :cry:

Hi Edmund,
Sorry to say, I find that the search function is disatrous after the "upgrade". I guess that the design of the search function had not taken into the consideration screen resolution or the how the search box would pop out when clicked on. All the time I clicked on, the textbox appeared under the grey title bar of Thread/Thread Starter. I cannot see the textbook but a blinking cursor under the grey bar. All these only happen after clicking on the search function several times, which disappear when you try to click into the textbox wanting to key in the search string.
Please, if you could, contact me for more details. Please help to rectify this issue.

Inaddition, I would like to add that, the new notification box is just as bad. When clicked on to see the notifications, it appeared under the Advertisements. Only 2mm of the notification is clickable when you extend it. So most of the time its not visible at all. Please if you could advise if this is where I post or help me to move my post to another related thread.

Same here, the search engine isn't working! Please get a fix on it soon mods. Thanks.
