New Mamiya 6

hello,

does anyone have experience with the New Mamiya 6 wif 50mm/f4 lens?

i visited http://www.kenrockwell.com/mamiya/index.htm and read his reviews on it. anyone have any comments?

mamiya 6 is out of production camera before the mamiya 7. not new at all. but rather hard to find one here in singapore though.

well... guess it would probably be rather expensive too. u shoot MF often? actually i'm a 35mm shooter, but thinking of exploring MF due to it's stunning image quality i've seen on the web.

i've also heard of the seagull. u think it's any good?

mamiya 645 pro TL kit with the 80mm F2.8 is selling only $2188 at cathay.more versatile than seagull which cannot change lens..

645PROTL with back, AE spot/av prism finder, 500mm, 150mm, 45mm
Everything u need from wideangle to super tele! Oh and with the auto winder too.

The M6 can be found on ebay. Be prepared to pay 2k Sing for it. But as demand for it is quite strong, you can probably sell it off without a loss on ebay if you don't like it.

The M6 is a rangefinder while the M645 is a SLR. The range of lenses for the M6 is much less than the M645.
