XA2 was announced just a few days ago so got to wait before it gets to the stores. Mustafa is still selling XA1. (NTSC) only.
Feature-wise, I think JVC's got a better set of usable features over the Hero3. Eg, simultaneous recording of video and stills, 4X slow motion, digital stabilization. I don't think anyone will miss Hero3's 4K 12 fps mode. (who cares?)

Seems like they do not have a remote control and head-strap ?

Any idea how much is the launch price (in US ?) ?

The camera can be controlled with your smartphone with the App. Not many accessories but the camera is waterproof without casing and got many mounting holes to exercise your creativity.
