DSLR Controller Beta just launched on Android Market today that is very useful for budding film makers..
IMO better than purposed-built EVF (e.g. Zacuto EVF) becos with this app, you can actually change all major camera settings as well as perform focusing by touching the smartphone's screen!

I read about it..Am going to get a cable and test it out only 60D when have the time :) I have the SII, although it's not a KG1 firmware…maybe i should change it to KG1….worth a try at KF1 anyways…

Anyone knows where i can find that USB host cable? It's not a regular micro USB to USB extender cable that's easily found…it's a Micro USB to usb Host cable…
I guess need to spend time finding that cable first

Would it work on video mode?

Like pressing the record button?

So far the demo is on photography.

No reason why not. The app is just an extension to the physical controls on the camera. If you watch the video you will noticed that the camera was already on Live View mode. Therefore just press Record and it should be recording.
