Need to bear in mind that the general readership is not as techy as we are... so the review might seem a dumb-down but I think it's pretty good for whom it's supposed to target... there are few mistakes, the part about the dust feature coming on when the camera is switched on for the Alpha and generally DSLRs have 9 focus points, not 5 or 10... DRO works and the flash has never had a pop-up feature on semi-pro bodies... not least the old Dynax 7, 7D and 9... and the author has forgotten that these (both te 330 and alpha) are entry level cameras... but then non-techies whom these cameras target won't know better...

this is a confirmation of what i have already seen at photokina 04 and in a shop recently(e-330). even 20x30cm prints(machine prints(contrast-controlled) with e-330 were unsharp(non-diplomatic word for soft).

Wahhh ...... Oly that bad huh...... :o

in dpreview they are already discussing how badly that zoom-lens is...it is unfair to compare that with a fixed-focus lens. but olympus seems to have a better one 90-250mm for 6400 euros only. they have great hopes that some day-in 10 years?-the 4/3-chips will outperform even 6x6-film.... until then the solution would be contax rts III-hasselblad superachromat 250mm plus nikon 9000 scanner.
