Hi, anyone to recommend? Need to scan 2 rolls of slides...

In the Shriro building on the sixth floor there is the Hasselblad offices and you can rent time on their NIkon Coolscans for very good rates and scan it yourself.

It's $10/hr for students and Hasselblad owners, $12 for others.
You have to buy CDRs from them to burn your scans. $2/piece for Verbatim media.

Bookable in min. 2hr blocks. Phone: 63788187 to find out more.

If you prefer a shop to do it for you, I think most digital-labs should be able to do it, though rates vary.

So far I have tried a number of shops and haven't found one I really really like. I also haven't use the shops' scanning services for a long while so hopefully other forummers can provide you with up to date information.

Essentially I don't like my film being scratched and oversharpening, assuming the colours are scanned accurately. This scenario might be really rare but I also had a shop scan in "3R mode" resulting in cropped scans instead of full frame scans, with the shop refusing recourse.

Did you try RGB Color?

Thanks guys...I was hoping some Clubsnappers can do it for me for a charge or something....nevermind...I look for the shops....
