Need help with..

Hi all, this is my first post in the forum.

I am flying to singapore on the weekend, purely to hunt a great rangefinder film camera, most interested in Leicas.

Can anyone direct me to some shops that sells either new, or used leica gears? i know chief is specialized in Voigtlander, i am definitely stopping over,
is there any other shops? Can you guys help me with name of the shops, and not just the name of the building.

Totally appreciate for all the info you guys give.

i think u have to do some thread searching around here.. as its been mentioned a few times..

anyways those buildings u mentioned are peninsula plaza, excelsior , and funan (lesser RF stuff though), they are just beside chiif's..
aldephi basement has some camera shops too.. just take a walk around those few buildings. they are just beside each other/accross the junction.

Yup. Chiiff is located on the 2nd floor of Excelsior shopping complex and the other notable second hand shops that deals with rangefinders are in the next building where the hotel Peninsula-Exselsior is located. Can't remember the name of the shops (Look for Mycameramonster, the second hand Leica dealers are near them) but they are on the ground floor right next to the food court. Right across the road next to the Grand Park City Hall hotel is another old complex known as Peninsula Shopping Center. There you can find another second hand dealer along with Cathay Photo if you're interested in new Leicas. Funan Digital Malls have a number of camera shops as well (Alan Photo and John 3:16 are known to carry Leicas). Alternatively, not too far away (less than a klick) lies Raffles Hotel where the main Leica store is located.

All these location are conveniently located within walking distance of the train station - City Hall. There will be maps located in the station so just look for the above named buildings and you'll should be good.
