need help on strobe!!!

Hi all,
Currrently I using Olympus ep-01 casing however the strobe I brought unable to be triggered by the my camera because the optical cable cannot fit on the case. Can we permanently on the strobe while taking photo?

Before I could suggest anything... need to know the Strobe you are using (Brand, Model... etc)... which Fiber Optic cable you are using... take a few photo, and post it here. Can't help without this information...

Btw... solution could be as easy as getting the right cable for the job...
