Need Help On Matrox Video Capture Card

To all Bros & Sis ,

Currently i am still working with Adobe Premier 1.5 , with matrox capture card.
But recently under the playback module it kept on prompting me the "The Matrox realtime plug in could not start" and if i ignore and just go in, it looks ok.
But when trying to insert the matrox effect the computer prompt me " plugin module error detected " and sometime the computer will hang .

Can bros and sis advice me on how to fix this problem ?
If capture card is spoilt , is there any chance that i can send it for repair and if so can someone let me know where to sent to.

Was the card working OK before? You could get this message either due to hardware problem or driver problem, so it is not clear where the problem is. I would try uninstalling the card and PPro, and then go through the recommended installation sequence again, making sure not to go out of step.

Gone thru the same step,but still cannot , the wire from pc that link to the dv camera also cannot work .
Bought the card 3 years ago ,was working smoothly only recent months than got problem.

You can try asking Matrox for troubleshooting..
I have been using Matrox for past 5 yrs and they do give quite a bit of problems if you don't know how to manage them.
But once you get it working it's actually not bad.

Most often, reinstalling helps.
Another problem is when you have more than one application using Matrox opened.
For example you can't really use both Premiere and After Effects together with Preview.

Which card you using now anyway?
