need help. Distance from stage at 28mm

Hi all...am on a HPX 172en.
Lens wide is 28mm.

I have a event popping up soon and the event stage is 12metres long.
Q: how far must be away from the stage to get the stage from end to end at 28mm

is there any calculator or something like that?

Simplest thing you can do.

A recce.

I created a 12m long stage with my 3D software and set the camera to use 28mm lens. To have the full 12m in full view with some space on both left and right side, your camera will need to be at least 10m from the stage. I don't know how accurate this will be but I guess it can't be very far off.

I've set several focal lengths with the distance as follows:
50mm == approx. 17.5m
85mm == approx. 31m
