National Geographic NGW5070 offer @ Cathay Photo

Just wanted to highlight to potential buyers of this bag that CP is offering it @ 175 with a free tripod. This advert appeared on the newspaper YESTERDAY(at least i saw it in straits times..)

The reason I am doing so is that i found someone selling this bag as seen here for $320: (http://www.clubsnap.com/forums/showthread.php?t=615400)

Quite a few coincidences between the nature of the seller's bag and that on offer by CP. Shall not speculate further, just hope people interested in the bag are aware of the offer from CP.

Just bought the bag from CP Marina. The freebies are a 3 section monopod and a small bag/pouch containing camera cleaning kits. Yup, as stated by TS as well as in the Friday ST ad, it's SGD175.

Can squeeze all of the above less the grip. Might have to detach it and put it in the top compatment? Best you go pay CP a visit tomorrow. CP Peninsular closes on Sundays. CP Marina opens daily save for certain public holidays.

eg wanting >100% of an item when i can get it new on my own,

i think we should just let the sellers sell whatever at whatever price they think the market will accept their prices.



the only time we should intervene for public policy is when the sale is fraudent,

i don't think we should take on the role of

moral police

nor

thoughts police.

Anyway, I went to Nat geo store at vivo to check out the bags and tripods. It costs 300 or so! Even the tote is 200. The price is quoted by the staff, so I not sure if it is accurate.

I posted because i didn't see the harm in doing so, and since i seriously had nothing better to do(i mean that literally) i did so..

while it is true that the market will accept the prices, there are always the un-informed / new comers who deserve an extra source of information.

The most I end up being labelled a loser or a moral police, as you would like to call it...i can live with that anytime..

On another note, arent you taking on the role of a thoughts police as well...?

I can post what i like, and if other people like me want to be a moral police, I believe i quote,

By the way, yes the original price of the bag is $300 plus..so apologies if i appeared to have inferred that the claim by the seller in the link was fake...(that was not my intentions..)..
