NABShow rumors: Two new EOS-C from Canon

If the C200 has the capability to record 4k with priced within $5k, thats gona be great ... And the war on prosumer 4k has started.

Dropping the C100 to <$3k will be a great deal.

4k sensor that pushes the 1080p FullHD to the maximum quality.

Whatever you see on the 5D3, Gh3, D4, VG30, etc isn't the real FULLHD quality, they all seems to be very good & overcranked 720p.

Another 3 things on the C100, Build in ND Filter, XLR audio inputs and very good low light performance (Better than 5D3).

Its a true run and gun setup with no reduction in quality but the current price is still too much when GH4 is going at $1.6k that gives 4k recording internally.

I use both 5D3 and GH3 extensively and i still love to grade on my 5D3 footage ... Its just seems more 'natural' as GH3 seems to go very digital sometimes. Its the canon look that i'm used to.

The C100's sensor is actually the same 4K sensor on the C300 but the signal is compressed to 1080p. However, much of the dynamic range is still retained giving the C100 a leg up over the 5D mark III in the highlight and shadow details. Shooting in C-log on the C100, there is less propensity for clipped highlights and crushed blacks. While the color space is still 4:2:0, the image holds up more during grading compared to 2K sensors.
Simply put, the C100 is capable of more film-like latitude compared to most DSLRs.
