even without considering the shutter lag on Olys, it is extremely difficult to capture moments like this. i like the shallow depth of field too.

Nice shot, great timing. Did you waited long for your luck to come or did you tickle his belly?

I did notice the shutter lag of the oly 5060 when I first started using. Took 5 shots before I manage to get a shot with the moray eel's mouth open. :embrass: Fortunately as all of you must know that moray open their mouth very often when they breath so I get many chances. Slowly will get the hang of the lag and plan shots earlier.

Hi Ivy,
This is a great shot, but I still find the picture lacking some contrast. I start wondering if it is only me and my monitor since no one else is commenting on it.

Anyway, I increased the contrast by 30 and reduced the brightness by 15, nothing else done.... do you find this picture better? Else I really need to borrow the monitor callibrator from my friend liao....

we also saw a 3-4cm size frogfish yawn .. too bad we didnt managed to capture it ...

I prefer the first one. Second one make it look like a duck (maybe it is just me). Also the 2nd 's eye look soft.

As for the contrast for the 1st, I think it was ok. I set my office monitor a bit darker because I am staring at it for a long time, this will be easier on eyes. Goodoo's touch up look brighter which will mean it will be too much for others.

Just hope that you do not get Prince of Wales. :bsmilie:

Looks like Prince Siaoon is going to Lembeh with a dive knife next trip to get rid of competetion. Or is he on his way there already. :devil:
