Rather pay for a crew member to do that, and double up on using other equipment.

Another stupid product IMHO.

But I won't deny that it's a pretty decent setup for timelapse because of the self-contained unit.

Doesn't do time lapse I heard cause the slowest speed from one side to another is 90 secs?

Redrock Micro has crazy pricing which is daylight robbery. Of course the quality is there, it's still overpriced.

If i have that money i'd get the shutter pod mini, controller and motors from kessler
