Motion 5 for Mac

Any used this before and got any comments please? Looks like it is stand alone software and seems to be easy to use for creating special effects and animation..

Any comments is helpful. Thanks..

It will still work alone. But it's very clunky on snow leopard.

Tried it for one project. Great in 64 bit...

But you can no longer import motion project into FCP X directly like previous FCP. You have to export to quicktime first. Then again, it's pretty painless to export as long as you are using a reasonable hardware. I am using the latest Macbook Pro 15" quad core and Mac OS Lion. The good thing is that since you are importing quicktime into your FCP X timeline, it's less CPU intensive than importing motion projects directly like before. It's just another video layer.

It's as before. Motion is great for quick effects. But After Effects is the way to go for more advanced effects.
