-- the whole pics seems very blue to me.. any advice on this?

I like the first shot, nice use of side lighting to highlight the fish and also the capture of the mouth opening moment. If you don't mind me commenting, am split on the presence of the sponge on the right, on 1 hand it provide a reference, on the other a distraction.

How come your title of more fish shots also have nudis and other stuffs?

Actually like this mood, gives it a very cool feeling. How did you do it?

hoho.. i only have side lighting... 1st time seeing a puffed up porcupine..

Of coz.. i love comments.. and advices!! need that to further improve..
hmm i c.. was thinking of cropping that out... but the "devilish" image of the sponge juz make me think otherwise.. hoho.. thinking of portraying a image of the fish being scared by the sight of that devil... guess its doesnt work.. :sweatsm: will take note of that.

err.. kinda thinking to post only abt fish.. then   .. Might as well post more of the rest.. "

good job to find it, shoot it and get the eyes of the shrimp in focus too. So this image is actually cropped?

I find that these shrimps on the star fish tend to jump around a bit whenever the camera come close to it. How did you mamage to capture it so 'kuai'? Care to share how far were you (your camera) away from it and what accessories did you use and the EXIF.

hmm.. think beivied found it one... shld be juz "examine" any sea stars u come across bah?! ya.. i do cropping for most of my pics. Someone says its gd to leave allowance for cropping when u take pics.. u can then "re-compose" yr subject.. etc.. which i think its very useful :D

think my lens was abt 4cm away from it? i hold the left and right side of the star fish arm.. so this shrimp have stay in the centre.. paiseh.. hope i didnt stress it too much.. after that.. i flipped back the seastar loh.. ;p

if my memory didnt fail me, i shld have an ucl-165 + epoque macro lens on for this shot.

and heres my EXIF for that pic..

the blue-ish-ness is ok.. it is the real colour of the environment. well done

haha.. thanks... all credits goes to proper and gd guidance of the gd master here.. ;p and of coz.. the experts that share their experiences and advices.. ;p still a long way to go.. strive to be a pro like jimmy  and obtain a gd sense of photo eyes like kthan... nice composition skill of whyzz.. etc..

frankly.. i cant remember how i position the lighting then.. i was concentrating more on how to compose the nudis.. ;p
