I just done shooting with dslr yesterday. I was too lazy to change tripod to monopod all the time.

what I did was just retracted 2 of the legs, only using 1 leg of the tripod n voila! it worked perfectly too! :-D

so I guess no need to buy expensive monopod

What do you call the 3 legged extension at the end of the monopod? Got sell as an item without the monopod?

manfrotto 651 rocks.. hanqiang, the tripod legs cant fit easily, it only works with specific monpods
