What is the Flip-It?
1) The Flip-it is a flash reflector system that offers the photographer flexibility and easy control of thier flash. It allows you to be the master and the strobe the servant, instead of the other way around
The Flip-It was created by Joe Demb, a professional wedding photographer who was not satisfied with the results from current reflector/diffusion systems.
Construction of flip-it.
The flip-it is it light, compact, and strong. It is made if vinyl, polyethylene, nylon, brass, stainless steel and Velcro.
There are 2 Flip-its available at this time.
1) Flip It Junior
2) Big Flip-it
(The flip-it comes with velcro attactment for both standerd flash and bowl style reflectors)

How does it compare to other flash diffusers and reflector systems?
Compared to - Diffusers - (Omnibounce)
1) Diffusers soften light but the diffusion, height and angle of the light is always the same
2) Prevents light from bouncing hard off the ceiling
3) Cast shadows in portrait mode
Compared to - Reflectors - (Card style)
1) Card style relectors provides double lighting (bounce + fill) that is flattering
2) When taking portrait style shots the flash points to the side
3) Card style reflectors are underpowered when there are high ceilings
4) The 'fill' light from the card cannot be controlled
Compared to - Reflectors - (Angled Style)
1) Angled reflectors provide a softer light compared to direct flash
2) They can work 'further' before the flash becomes underpowered
3) However the same effect is produced over and over again
4) It does not allow bounce off the ceiling (except for the Lumiquest 80-20)
5) Light source is at the side when taking portrait style photos
6) Must be removed when direct flash is needed
Advantages of flip-it
1) As the reflector is on a hinge, it allows the photographer to go from the 'softness' of a card style shot (and even more by adjusting the card slightly back ) to the range/reach of an angled relector and ALL the in-between variations by just adjusting the relector.
2) By mounting the panel on the short side of the flash, ceiling bounce/double lighting can be acheived easily in protrait style or landscape style with the flash OVER the lens and hence throwing any shadows down NOT sideways.
3) Since it is attached to the short side if the flash, directional lighting with 'secondary light' can easily be achieved by adjusting/rotating the flash
4) When direct flash is needed, the flip-it reflector can be flipped ALL the way back and out of the way. You do not need to remove it to take direct flash and put it back on when u want to bounce of the ceiling.
* The Flip-it(Junior or Big) can also be used on an off camera strobe/flash to allow you more control such as double lighting off camera.

Lead Time: This will really depends on their stock status; however I will get an estimate delivery date once the order is placed.

2) For those who are uncomfartable with pre-payment but are keen and WANT to get one please e-mail/PM me and I will put your name down. Payment will be by CASH on collection.
