Guys, thanks to all of you who PMed me. I'm currently waiting for a reply from Singapore Customs as I was told that they will impose a 5% GST on the SB800's that I bring in. Can anyone confirm this?

As for the international warranty - an original receipt will be issued by my supplier. Nikon Singapore will honour the international warranty as long as you have this receipt.

Hi, is this the correct figure $565.95(include GST)?

This should be the figure if the Singapore customs bases the 5% tax on the price on my receipt. You will be shown the actual Singapore custom's receipt and will be charged according to the paid amount.

I have decided to only bring in limited units on the 4th December to see how the Singapore customs works in matters like this. I will again bring some units on the 23rd of December.

Terms are:

1) You agree to pay the actual amount of tax imposed by the Singapore customs. (which should be around the range of S$26.95)
2) You agree to the item having "International Warranty" with an original receipt from my supplier.
3) You agree to deposit a 10% deposit into my Singapore bank a/c to show that you're serious.
4) You agree to meet at Yishun MRT station on 4th December (time to be confirmed) to pick up your Nikon Speedlight SB800.

Please PM me again if you agree to the above terms and I'll take it on a first come first served basis.

SB-800, I bought new already... Fly off on 3rd, can't wait for 4th leh... Bad timing....

Don't need to buy from Hong Kong liao, get it from our neighbour, Malaysia, only S$569.95 inclusive of GST :thumbsup: , not even $600 as those guys selling via MO. :thumbsup:

I guess that you have to order more flash as well as lenses. Anyway, they all have International Warranty.
