Tom, got consider sending via vpostUSA? But i need to find out the size and weight of the package, then can work out the shipping cost.

If ship to my vpostUSA address, 1 set for US$7 and even 10 sets only US$25

vposUSA ship to singapore will cost SGD$9.90 + SGD$6.99 every KG, definitely much cheaper than paying hunreds of USD$ to directly

Regarding the cost: 227x1.75x1.05 + 30x1.75 = S$470, roughly save S$130 compared with getting locally.

cos vpost charge $9.90 basic and $6.99 per kg based on volumetric weight or actual weight whichever is higher.

Actually i think if the respond is good (eg more than 5 orders), we can simply go via direct shipping. Less troubles, faster, and relatively cheap (USD30/box).

With regards to warranty issues, will the warranty be honored by ColorMall, or is there an international warranty?

Accoding to the reply:

1. they are approximately 5-1/2" square and there are 8 to a case (case is 11" x 11" x 11").

2. the warranty is not country specific but you might have to ship a defective unit back to the U.S. for repair or replacement.

look like best is to find 8 pple to buy, btw, what is the weight of EACH set?

it will cost US$21.65 (ground) or US$49.20 (2 days) to send to my vpostusa address. then vpostusa will send it to singapore at :

S$9.90 + (11" x 11" x 11"/366) x S$6.99 = S$35.30

I am not sure the weight of the total package, but this is assuming that the total is less than 3.64kg, cos vpost will take the higher one based on volumetric weight or actual weight

don't forget 5% GST and any sales tax from US side, if 8 pple are buying, each of us will pay less than S$10 each on shipping, that's a big different compare to US$30+

Why the PM version is not considered? I went to their website and it seems this version is much more powerful(?) for about USD140 more - and since we are going to take the trouble, might as well ......

Anyone got idea about this version - tempting to get one also!

Yes, PM looks better, but my question is: do you really need those additoinal features? I think the "display" is good enough for me. Regarding the shipment, don't know if they allow mixing two types of different product. Let me check it out.
