Ok, i'll be doing only 1 MO for these items, cos i am going to get other stuff for myself, so if anybody wanna combine with mine, den we share shipping cost altogether using Fedex Air 4-7 business day. Those who know me, i dun really go for earning profits, i just like to share things, so if you guys think its too expensive then nevermind... cos i am not earning profits anyway. Cos to get these via shipping, per item is $55 USD to sg, dun bother going thru amazon or other e-retailers, cos i've tried, they dun sell to Singapore.

I'll be ordering a few Cyberpad for myself, and maybe a Cybertablet 12000.

The CyberPad is a stand-alone device with internal storage capability that digitally captures and stores everything you write or draw with ink on ordinary paper, such as letter size or A4 size without the use of a computer and special paper. An optional SD slot makes it perfect for additional storage. Then, you can easily view, edit, organize and email your handwritten notes on your computer screen.

The Adesso CyberPad digitally stores exact reproductions of notes or graphics in real time. It includes a clip which accommodates all standard letter-sized paper pads. The CyberPad includes 32MB of internal memory which provides 26 directories (A-Z) with 99 pages available in each – and is further expandable with the integrated SD slot – which can also act as an SD card reader. It then connects to a PC via USB to instantly transfer and manage notes and images.

Once connected to a PC, Adesso’s CyberPad can also convert into a fully-functional PC tablet, which is an ideal input solution for computer artists, graphic designers, photo editors and office and CAD/CAM applications. Other emerging applications include Internet whiteboard graphics, signature verification for e-commerce as well as handwriting/text conversion.

there is warranty for 1 year, but have to ship back to US, which i dunno who should pay for the transport like tat... maybe i ask them...

Ah no wonder.

I'm also looking for an A4 one...Eastgear did say they are bringing in and its not that much more ex than the Digimemo - but no ETA :( pm me if you want to know their indicative price (but totally non binding).

The thing about Digimemo is that it uses CF, but the Cyberpad is SD. The good part about Cyberpad is that it can be used as a tablet ala Wacoms.

if eastgear is bringing in, den i might as well stop this MO, since i am not for profits anyway, whoever more convenient for me will earn my business, thats all i ask for...

but to wat i know, i've searched over the net, i think cyberpad is the only one that makes an A4 size type (dun talk about logitech type, those use special metalic paper... kill u in long run) and i think digimemo only have A5... or they have an A4 but never release...

(psst... pm me the price from eastgear, if really they take 1/2 a year to bring in that... i think my war long over already...)

PM you already - problem is, Eastgear is unable to say when theywill bring in the A4 version - seems like the Cyberpad is the way to go - especially if you need it right now (going by your MO closing at 10pm).

Any way to delay the MO close date? Maybe u can check out with Eastgear too - I also interested to know cos I wanna get one.

think they all at exhibition...

anyway, i normally do things fast, hehe... if eastgear can't get what i wan in a week, i'll just go... i dun like to waste time.

anyway, my CFO (not my wife...) is going for business trip, and i think i'll use company TT to transfer funds over to them, then ask them to ship fast... so i'll order most likely next week mid week. and over here, i close at 10pm cos i wanna see exact figure, then i ask for a better price and then order. if everybody just wait til last minute, den i ask plenty of question over, also waste each other's time... correct?

anyway, leave your interest in whichever product, then i ask in bulk the price plus shipping to sg (have to calculate weight) den divide them and we all maybe have a cheaper price... rite?

from wat i see on specs, i think wacom does not have any such cyberpad yet. and i doubt they will even make 1, and cyberpad is of lower LPI than the intuos one (approx same size)

but from the 12x9 cybertablet, i think the difference is a slightly lower LPI and sensitivity, but u pay about 2x or more for the intuos. that depends how you see it. maybe can search for reviews for the items you are interested in. cos i'm not their agent, just wanna share transport & offer with fellow cser, so i'm not in anyway going to promote their items. this stand i am standing very firm... buy if you think it fits, and i'll given the specs, so do your own comparison & research...

(but i am a nice guy lah, u ask any questions, i normally will answer...
<---- else how to get so high post count? )

i meant comparison when used as a tablet. will read up

i'm not sure as well... really...

but if my ideology is correct.. maybe this will seem interesting to you...

if u have used a tablet before, i dun think anybody would really feel a difference between the lines per inch, LPI, cos if unless you use a very small tablet, and it is used in conjunction with lets say 19" monitor, then approx, 15" x 12" to a 6" x 4" with 3000 lines (dunno if it consist of horizontal + vertical anot). meaning u need have about 6x3000 / 15" height = 1200 horizontal sensitivity, and 4x3000 / 1000 vertical sensitivity... (if its using per square den do own maths, i just using ideology)

and like wise, using a bigger tablet would be better sensitivity if u use big screen, smaller tablet for small screen rite...

so lets say this cyberpad give about 1000 per inch, its 12" x 8.5", so on comparison, vs on a 19", its 12x1000 / 15 = 800 with a 8.5x1000 / 12 = 708, which is lower, but not that bad as well, if you don't use it on a big screen or high res...

but if you are using mainly for graphics, i suggest you get a graphics tablet, either tis, or from wacom... if i have money, i'll get an intuos, big one, cos its still better, not that i wanna crash my own thread anyway. its a fact... and there's support.

for me, i have my own unique usage for this cyberpad, and i am just making a risk here, cos i've never used it before, and only seen some nice review from users... and if it fails, i'll just chuck it to a corner of the store... and get nag for few months until everybody forgets... :bsmilie:

and u guys can always wait for my reviews, and later order them yourselves...
