Personally, I am very tempted to buy a Canon 300d with 17-40L and 70-200 f4 L lens. Brought my Minolta Dynax 5 with 24-105 and 100-300 APO lens to Bangkok and Cambodia recently, together with my new Dimage A1. Still find myself using the SLR a lot more, just can't really get used to electronic viewfinder of the A1! Besides, I love the sound and feel of the mirror slap, haha! I love my Minolta set-up, it's good optically and so lightweight too, but.. sigh, I think Desmond will understand how I feel yearning for a true DSLR.
