Hi guys. Could you guys tell me what the ASA settings are for? I am buying a Minolta XG 7 for my first vintage camera and I already got a roll of film, ISO 400 Kodak Ultramax. I have to set the ASA settings to 400 as well right?

Hi guys. I'm about to buy a Minolta XG 7 for my first vintage camera. I also bought a roll of film ISO 400. As for the ASA settings, I have to set it to 400, according to my film right? The aperture settings are on the lens itself right? And what are the dials with the numbers on top? Are those the shutter speed?

I'm sorry for asking too much questions. I want to know more and confirm my info before I actually shoot.
